Hagee: Israel covered in “a sea of human blood”
Thu May 15, 2008 at 08:24:11 AM PDT
Ben Smith uncovers some shocking, though not surprising, work that McCain's Spiritual advisor, Catholic Hater, and otherwise Religious Right Fascist, Pastor John Hagee wrote in his 2007 book, Jeruselum Countdown.
John McCain's Own Words
"I'm grateful for his commitment to the support of the state of Israel, and I'm very grateful for many of his commitments around the world, including to the independence and freedom of the state of Israel," he told CNN’s Campbell Brown on April 29.
Hagee however roots his commitment to Israel in the insane belief that Israel is the scene of the coming Armageddon. And some in the US question/laugh at/fear Ahmadinejad's Apocalyptic fantasies? Quotes below the fold... this is shocking stuff and should give any GOP Leaning Jew shivers.

With the Nomination all but wrapped up, the question now becomes: What path to Victory does Obama have? And more importantly, is his Team already several steps ahead of the analysis?
In recent posts on 538 (essential reading), Poblano has again worked brilliance and paved the path to victory for Barack Obama in the Fall General Election Campaign. Follow me over the jump for some statistical bliss.

Updated: McCain Busted in Land Deal benefiting Fundraisers over Environment with McSame History
Fri May 09, 2008 at 09:52:03 AM PDT
The media appears to have left the BBQ, returned to reality and will now start reporting real stories on John McCain again... let's see where this one goes... it falls right into line with McCain's unreported history of Quid Pro Quo Land dealings involving Lobbyists, Contributors, and National Land Swaps. This is public malfisence under the guise of public service and this sort of thing should be illegal... I can't believe he has a remote chance of becoming President; God help us all...
Sen. John McCain championed legislation that will let an Arizona rancher trade remote grassland and ponderosa pine forest here for acres of valuable federally owned property that is ready for development, a land swap that now stands to directly benefit one of his top presidential campaign fundraisers.
Details Below. Thanks for the Rec List... Nothing like dissing the enemy for Unity eh?
Breaking Video: Obama on NBC Declares May 20th GameOver: V-HRC Day!
Thu May 08, 2008 at 12:56:52 PM PDT
Barack today in as clear a signal as possible indicates that May 20th is infact the end of Major Primary Operations and is infact the GameOver Moment. Has he gotten some inside information from Hillary to indicate such or is he setting the bar clearly on May 20th that it's time to declare victory?
Video of the NBC Interview here
Full Quote
"That will be an important day. If at that point we have the majority of pledged delegates, which is possible, then I think we can make a pretty strong claim that we’ve got the most runs and it’s the ninth inning and we’ve won."
This strongly confirms on Video the finish line drawn in this earlier article.

Expectations Reality: Tuesday's Results won't really matter
Mon May 05, 2008 at 11:17:04 AM PDT
Let's be very clear here about what may or may not happen on Tuesday. I know you may be fluttering about the latest SUSA poll showing Hillary up by 12% in Indiana, or the PPP with Obama up 10% in North Carolina... What's Zogby Smoking afterall. Tweety is trying to set his expectations and Chuck Todd understands the simple fact but won't say it because it's bad for Business. There is a simple, Clear Reality at play right now.
Tuesday DOES NOT* MATTER
No result Tuesday will be big enough to change the Race. No Nuclear Option matters. Nothing matters at all actually because as you may have guessed, Barack Obama is certainly going to become the Nominee of the Democratic Party and there is nothing Hillary can do about it.
*This is not to say to stop working; Hardly, there is much work left, and if Obama did win Tuesday, we'd get to the GE work much faster, so IN and NC, Come through for us!
Updated w/ Barack and Nancy: Bloomberg Blasts Gas Tax Bribe as 'Dumbest Thing'
Thu May 01, 2008 at 11:07:28 AM PDT
New York Politicians are speaking out today about the McCain/Hillary Gas Tax Bribe
[Bloomberg] said, "It’s the dumbest thing I’ve heard in an awful long time from an economic point of view. I don’t understand why you think there’s any merit to it whatsoever. We’re trying to discourage people from driving and we’re trying to end our energy dependence. We don’t do that -- oh, and incidentally, we’re trying to have more money to build infrastructure. All three of those things go fly in the face of giving everybody $30 a year. The $30 bucks is not going to change anybody’s lifestyle. The billions of dollars that we would otherwise have in tax revenues can make a big difference as to what kind of a world we leave our children."
Bloomberg praised officials who opposed the "summer break on gasoline taxes which would help Chavez, Qaddafi and other people like that. I don’t know why anybody would want to do it."

Webb Shreds McCain on GI Bill: "He's So Full of It"
Wed Apr 30, 2008 at 12:02:59 PM PDT
These are Fighting Words of a Fighting Dem standing up for Troops the way only Democrats Can! Pay Attention Eventual Nominee, whoever you may be. Jim's leading the charge!
"There are fundamental differences," McCain told Politico. "[Webb's GI Bill] creates a new bureaucracy and new rules. His bill offers the same benefits whether you stay three years or longer. We want to have a sliding scale to increase retention. I haven’t been in Washington, but my staff there said that his has not been eager to negotiate."
"He’s so full of it," Webb said in response. "I have personally talked to John three times. I made a personal call to [McCain aide] Mark Salter months ago asking that they look at this."
Translation: McCain's lying and full of shit! This may blow up into the MSM yet and really give the Heathers fits in how they'd explain McCain abandoning the Troop's GI Bill!
Pres. Carter: "undemocratic" if SDs "blatantly" over rule Pledged Delegates
Tue Apr 29, 2008 at 07:11:28 PM PDT
President Carter made some very Strong, Clear comments to the Telegraph UK and Openly Mused about Obama's Inuaguration Address Today. When discussing whether or not Superdelegates could be persuaded based upon vague electability arguments, he responded:
"It would be undemocratic if the super-delegates blatantly went against the decision of Democratic voters across the nation.
"And I think that many super-delegates who have not yet declared their preference have the same feeling that I do, including the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. She’s said over and over that whoever gets the most [pledged] delegates by June 3rd ought to be the nominee."
It would be "too bad" and damaging to the party if the battle went to the nomination, he said. The role of super-delegates, he argued, was to swing behind the winner chosen by the voters and not to usurp them.
Senator Jeff Bingaman Picks Obama with Bonus Pink Floyd Endorsement
Mon Apr 28, 2008 at 12:14:20 PM PDT
Finally, some good news.
New Mexico Senator and superdelegate plans to throw his support behind the Land of Lincolner.
I won't lie. Today has been tough. AP has Clinton really moving ahead of Obama vs. McCain. PPP shows North Carolina Whites migrating to Clinton and Obama's once 25pnt lead cut in Half. Indiana isn't looking particularly promising with SUSA showing a formidable 9 point gap, and weakness in Independents on the rise. Obama has alot of holes to plug before the boat catches much water, starting with a Sock in Wright's Mouth. However, the math remains on our side and the magic number in terms of superdelegates is within reach.
Guam is Ready To Go: Guam for Obama and You!
Sat Apr 26, 2008 at 06:54:31 AM PDT
Fired Up?

Ready to Go?

This is the definition of "50 State Strategy"... even the Territories get love, resources, and organizational strength.
As a show of how serious this campaign has taken every contest, and every vote, the Obama for America office in Hagåtña has been up and running for weeks now.
Southern High School graduate Ria Baldevia returned to the island to help with the campaign efforts as a field director. Yesterday Ria checked in with news from on the ground in Guam:
Barack Obama to Fundraise for DNC w/ Latest Polls
Fri Apr 25, 2008 at 08:30:34 AM PDT
Our future Nominee is about to Sign On to Fundraise in coordination with the DNC
the Obama campaign and the Democratic National Committee have decided to file papers with the Federal Election Commission establishing a "joint fundraising agreement." Under the law, such a committee can accept up to $28,500 from individuals, most of which would go to the DNC.
Presumptive Republican nominee John McCain has already formed such an alliance with the Republican National Committee. Their group — called Victory — was created in March after McCain clinched the GOP nomination.
Sources say the DNC has also held talks with Hillary Clinton’s campaign about forming a separate vehicle with her, but that no deal has been struck.
The fact that the Obama campaign is moving forward and Clinton is not at this time reflects certain important realities: Obama’s team is more confident that he will win the nomination than is Clinton’s — and Obama’s campaign has the necessity and luxury of thinking about and planning for the general election to come.
Bill Claims Obama has "Written Off" White Working Class
Wed Apr 23, 2008 at 04:19:07 PM PDT
Bill is definitely playing some class warfare here in an attempt to make gains in North Carolina and basically destroy Obama's future potential to close the gap with illusive Working Class Whites.
Bill Clinton fired up a Tar Heel crowd here today by recounting some facts and figures from his wife's victory in Pennsylvania. He said that victory was made possible by "people like you," working-class types that he claimed the Obama camp is now writing off.
"Today her opponent's campaign strategist said, 'Well, we don't really need these working-class people to win, half the time they vote for Republicans anyways,'" he said, while speaking from a flatbed truck on a baseball field. "I will tell you something -- America needs you to win and therefore Hillary wants your support and I hope you will help her in this primary in North Carolina."
Obama Predicts Close Finish! Nabs Ohio Superdelegate!
Mon Apr 21, 2008 at 07:57:00 AM PDT
The tone is strikingly different than "Remember New Hampshire" prior to Texas... the Internals must be looking up...
Here's Obama today
"I think it’s going to be pretty close, we’re campaigning pretty hard."
"I’m predicting it’s going to be close and that we are going to do a lot better than people expect."
Does Obama See the Future? Or does he See you NOT making Calls?
